DEAR FRIEND,
Just now I have received your letter and your book, Indian Home Rule.
I have read your book with great interest, because I think the question you have
therein dealt with is important not only for Indians, but for the whole of
Mankind.
I cannot find your first letter, but by discovering your biography by Doke, I
happen to know you through that biography which gripped me and it gave a
chance to know and understand you better.
I am not very well at present. So I am unable to write to you on all the
questions which are interconnected with your book and also with your activities
in general, which I value much. But I shall write to you as soon as I recover.
Your friend and brother,
